[Opinions] Re: Gratefully, nicknames
Honestly, like Llewella said, a lot of these sound like casual, once in a while speaking kind of nicknames, not something you would introduce yourself as or put down as your name on a school assignment. Mazzy, Paulie, Van, Mal, and Walt are okay.
Saffy sounds rediculous. Ro is okay as an occasional shortening of Rowan, but Roe just reminds me of fish eggs and Roe v Wade. :\ Clarie feels awkward to say, and it looks like you misspelled Claire. Rohn and Rem seem especially forced. I would spell it Roan, if you really want to go that route.I second some of lakin5's alternate options: Mazarine nn Rina, Saffron nn Ronnie, and Paulina nn Lina.I would also suggest:
Mazarine nn Zarine, Zarina, or Mina
Saffron nn Sonny
Evander nn Evan, Ever, or Anders
Malcolm nn Colm
Efraim nn Remy ?
I really don't think Rowan, Clara, Ronan, or Efraim need a nickname.-----------------------------------------
