[Opinions] Axelle
Looking for opinions on Axelle.
How would you pronounce it on sight?
Do you like/dislike it?
Do you think it would compliment Clarisse and Nadine (hypothetically!)?
Any other thoughts?

I can't say I am a fan. It sounds very harsh for a little girl.
Hi !!!
I've never heard the feminine of Axel...
It is nice!! Particular and I like this spelling !
I pronounce it ahk-SELL like if it was a French name such Michelle or Noelle.
Clarisse, Nadine and Axelle?
Wonderful !!
All three have something particular and 'old fashionable'at the same time.
They are not boring or too girly but they shines together. Yes! They shines and they are frilly-fresh!
Axelle is perfect with them.

I can't say I'm a fan. I would say it ack-SELL based on spelling and the patterns of other names (Gabriel vs Gabrielle, Michael vs Michelle, etc). I just don't like the sound.
It sounds a little spiky next to Clarisse and Nadine, which have a softer feel (though Nadine isn't super soft, IMO). I'd expect Axelle to be the violent sister. Maybe it's just because I can't hear the name Axel (or Axelle, apparently) without thinking of someone wielding an ax.

It's nice, but the "Ax" begininning bothers me a bit in an anglophone context.
Double post - sorry
I like this: I would pronounce this with two syllables Ax / Elle, not that I pronounce well...

My mouth wants to say Axle but my eyes want to say Ax-ELLE. How would you pronounce it? I'm not crazy about the name with either pronunciation, to be honest.
