It bothers me a LOT when teachers come on and critique their students' names. Bex even got in trouble with a parent once.

I'm not a teacher.
When I say this was a student, I don't mean my student, personally. I work in the Admissions department for a school, we get calls all the time.

Really? That seems like a very immature parent.

I did not get in trouble with the parent. The parent was annoyed about people's comments on the name and asked me to remove it, i did. I am still in touch with that parent, people say much worse stuff about the kids name to his face.
