It works as a name in a way, in that it is an attractive word, but the meaning.....I suppose some would consider the meaning wholly positive, but is modesty always a good trait? Can't one be overly modest? To the point of prudishness or lack of self-esteem? For that reason, I say no.

I wonder if Modesty as a concept might mean - the appropriate level of restraint in those matters? I like to think of it that way, because I think it's an important idea - one not very well understood in our culture. But I understand it's not really received that way.
