The States? The
home of misspelled names? I remember when there was a post in the Lounge asking about "Stereotypes of Countries", and so many who were not American cited as a common stereotype of the US, "Misspelled names."
Tiphanie goes over fine here. I know that it's not technically a misspelling, but rather a foreign form, but since we are so used to misspellings I think it would be seen as one.
I think I like both spellings about equally. I like the name well enough. My youngest sister hates it.

I am all for finding loving homes for children who truly need them.
I am against unnecessary, unethical, forced, and illegal "adoptions".
I do not support sealed records, altered birth certificates, coercion of first parents, unenforceable "open" adoptions, and avoidance of fathers' rights.
