[Opinions] Lunadora
Not so long ago, someone posted a thread about names ending in -dora, and Minodora was mentioned. Unfortunately, it just reminded me of a minotaur. Menodora, the Greek original, reminded me of menopause, but I really liked the idea of a name meaning "moon gift."I was talking to my DH about it and he suggested Lunadora. While I love the meaning, it's a bit too out-there for a name, let alone on an actual child. Inspired by Caprice's post of Chiarastella / Clarastella, I decided to bring it up here.WDYTO Lunadora? Would you choose a different combination for the meaning 'moon gift'?

Again, as with Caprice's names, I like the name Lunadora in theory and the meaning is lovely, I just think it's too over the top to use in real life. Great for a character though - in the right circumstances.

Hi !!!I currently like just Dora.
Lunadora has a bauriful meaning (I also love Luna) but seems too elaborated and "creative madeup" for me. It is too much. And also reminds me Nymphadora (Harry Potter character) which is one of my favourite c. so the link is positive..
But Lunadora seems her younger sister lol.It is only my taste because on paper this name is perfect for my style but has something that clashes. Just it.
