I don't think it's a "real" name, but it probably has been used by someone somewhere. It sounds like it could be a variant of Keturah or cithara, which is a Greek musical instrument similar to a lyre. Honestly, I much prefer Keturah to Kitara because I think names with known provenance are preferable to invented ones, even if they are just altered spellings.
