[Facts] update
I did a name update this afternoon:
http://www.behindthename.com/updates/update63.phpOther new features:
1. Added support for Hebrew script
2. Text in non-Latin scripts (Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Cyrillic) can be clicked, leading to a page which shows how to transcribe it.
3. The list of "usages" for the name (the cultures in which the name is used) are now linked to the appropriate pages.

Cool... and a little confusedSo for most of the names that are deleted, they are also added. Is it just an organization thing where they went from "male and female" and multiple meanings in one to being listed as 1 and 2?Also, what does Nomar have to do to get added around here? :)I really like the transcription! Thanks.

Of the names that were deleted...Three were misspelled
BENJÁMIM (m) -> BENJÁMIN
ŠTĚPÁNA (f) -> ŠTĚPÁNKA
TZVIYA (f) -> TZIVYAThese had accents added or changed, so they registered as "new" names.
ANDOR (m)
CÄTÄLIN (m)
CUAUHTEMOC (m)
ESPIRIDION (m)
ITIMAD (f,m)
LIDA (f)
RABIA (f)
SNEZANA (f)These were split into two names, so they registered as new names (I should fix this)
CAM (f)
CAROL (f,m)
COLIN (m)
DARYA (f)
DICK (m)
FRANK (m)
GERD (f)
GERDA (f)
JASMIN (f)
KAJ (m)
KALA (f)
MAI (f)
RAM (m)
SHIN (m)
TARAH (f)
WYNNE (m,f)I believe I deleted this one by accident. I'll add it again for next update.
CEFERINO (m)These were legitimately deleted.
DURAND (m)
FARDOOS (f)
IRMÃ (f) - means "sister" in Portuguese, not a name
JANECEK (m) - not a Czech name
NIBORI (m) - not a Japanese name
RAGNBORG (f)
RAGNFRID (f)
ZACHARI (m)

But why was Ragnfrid deleted? There are Norwegian women with this name and also a handful women in Sweden. Ragnfrid is a legitimate form of the ancient Ragnfridr."But it’s all right now.
I learned my lesson well.
You see you can’t please everyone
So you got to please yourself."

Yes, and I see the popular Swedish names Linn and My as well as the old Swedish queen's name Desideria"But it’s all right now.

Yay, Cãtãlin got corrected! :-D And the Hebrew script is very cool. I suppose Asian scripts (Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc.) would be next, right?I think my favourite is Jasmin for a boy.

Yes, thanks to your comment, Cãtãlin got corrected! Those comments that do lead to a database correction get a little "[noted -ed]" added to them.As far as scripts go, Devanagari is next. Sometime in the distant future Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai will be added. Maybe in 10 years I'll have them all done...

I doubt it. :-)I'm guessing in a year or two a little one will appear...and then your time is gone

Wow, you've been busy! Thanks for this update. I haven't had time to read the entire list over, but I especially like that you were able to add Bion and Cuauhtemoc to the list. :)
