I like its eighteenth and nineteenth century vibe, but I'm not crazy about it because of the "creesh" sound--as you say, it suggests the word "secretion". I prefer Lucinda, which has the same vibe but avoids the sound. Of course, your ancestors were named Lucretia and not Lucinda so I understand that's a point in favor of Lucretia for you.
