Help[Opinions] Ilan
I've fallen in love with Ilan today.
Went on an excursion with school and one of the singer/songwriter/producers that they had there was a guy named Ilan.
After hearing it, I really really love it. (Even though half the time the oterh presenters said his name wrong..)
I don't really think it goes that well with Theodora.. :(
Anyways
1. What do you think of the name Ilan for a boy
2. Do you think it sounds nice with Theodora
3. Do you think it sounds 'too Jewish'

The first Israeli astronaut was named Ilan. I think it's a strong and handsome name.

Theodora and Ilan is a very beautiful and exotic combo!
Ilan is nice on a boy and is not too Jewish because many names end with -an. Ilan is better because has a pretty meaning and it is far from the usual names..but not too much!
Theodora immediately reminds me the Byzantine Empire and the Greek Orthodox Church so along with an Hebrew name create a lovely 'Eastern and spiritual' combo!

Well, it is a Hebrew name - why shouldn't it sound Jewish? Theodora is much more likely to be used by Christians than Jews (though a Jewish atheist friend of mine famously married a woman named Christine!) so maybe consider it as a mn, unless you've got that sorted out for family reasons or something.
OTOH, I like both Ilan and Ilana, and Ilana goes very well with Theodora, I think.
