Help[Facts] German surname Andes
None of my books reveal anything that would explain this name. Google seems to get it mixed up with ANDERS which is interesting. It seems that ANDES has also been used as a first name, so this would confirm my first idea, that ANDES is a somewhat crippeled form of Andreas.
Any ideas?
