Autumn aren't.
I think it's ridiculous purely because of the verb association.
Summer,
Autumn and
Winter have one meaning, and whether positive or negative, they work as name with connotations fitting with their season.
Spring on the other hand has got the alternative meaning of 'to leap or jump' which, while not a terribly poor association, could get confusing and difficult in day-to-day life.
