[Opinions] Shahrazad / Sheherazade

I love it.
Our form is Šeherezada and I’ve met a couple. I also know a Turkish Şehrazat.

I'd love to meet one too. Not sure if I'd ever be brave enough to use it myself, but I'd love to see it on others, especially kids. I think the right person could totally own and rock this name.
If I were of Arabic or Persian ancestry, or married into such a family, I would seriously consider using Shahrazad for a daughter. As it is, Scheherazade is a huge GP of mine... but it is a long name to give to a real human being.

I love this name! Kinda prefer the Scheherazade spelling, but both are beautiful. Personally I think it works best on a woman of Iranian descent, but it could work on anyone.
It sounds kind of pretty. At least it can be shortened to Shay
I like Scheherazade, but I don't think it's usable. It's a GP of mine.
My mum went to school with one. She went by Sheri because no one could ever get it right.
I think it could make a fun middle name.

Nope... It's just too much for someone to actually use. You'd run into a lot of people who couldn't pronounce it. You'd have such a tough time learning how to write it as a kid in school. And while the literary reference is nice, imo... It's just not that pretty of a name.
