It's okay. Does remind of Sterling, starling, and darlin', and so it sounds country-style to me which isn't my thing. I think it sounds more like girls' names do... but it works either way I guess. Seems surnamey on a boy, invented on a girl. I like Star (g) and Carlin (g), so I guess I like the sound of Starlin too, but ... eh... yeah I'd like it if I met one, but wouldn't put it on my own list. Could so easily be Starlyn (yuck).
