Wow, more boy names than girl names? Usually it’s the other way around!Jane Louise was easy to choose as a favorite for me. I love how simple and elegant it is and how well it flows.Other noteworthy girl names…Adela Hart - I wonder if Hart’s the mother’s maiden name or otherwise honoring someone? I love Adela.Arya Marie - I’m sure most would argue that it’s boring but I think it sounds sweet.Lavinia Violet - A bit of a “v” overload but both names individually are stunning. Some names that stood out in a not so good way…Hannah Grace - All I’m able to feel towards this name is boredom x2.Alleigh Joann - Allie / Ally is much better. Even then I’d wish they used a more formal name with Allie / Ally as a nickname.Macy Elizabeth - “Macy” annoys me to no end. Maisie is so much better!Marilee Marie - Seems redundant to me.Elliott Kathryn - Ellen? Elena? Elizabeth? Why Elliott?Saylor Kaye - Ugh. I just really dislike Saylor / Sailor.Charleston “Charlie” Lynn - If they were planning on using Charlie as a nickname all along, why not use Charlotte as the full name? Even just Charlie would’ve been better than Charleston.Preston Hope - Bad for a boy, even worse for a girl.Finley Kate - Ugh.For boys I really adore Miles Joseph. I love how fun and youthful Miles is.Other names I liked…Judah Leonard - Such a nice combo, I really enjoy both names.Judah Michael x2Isaac David - Classic and handsome.Ellis James - A close second for my favorite. Such a handsome combo!Eli Daniel - Though I wish Eli were short for Elliott / Elias / etc.Jude Thomas - Another combo I liked a lot.Milo Everett - I think it’s fun and cute.Callen Edward - Though I do prefer Callan. I’ve always loved this name on a boy.William Caleb - Classic and well put together.Carson John - I’ve always liked Carson as well.Micah Jameson - I love how these names sound together, even though neither of them are really my style.Names I didn’t like…

Guys-- Carl "William" is Carl William being called his MNThey didn't just name him Carl and call him William.

That should have been pretty obvious..
Anyway, I like William. I've always disliked Carl, especially when pronounced in English. And I dislike Calle / Kalle also, which is the nickname pretty much all Carl's go by here..

Had to laugh when I saw Hannah Grace. It sounds fine, but it’s a redundant meaning. Marilee Marie seems redundant too, as it seems like Marilee is just Mary and Lee; though I don’t really know the name’s origins. I will say it’s a nice name, though. Also, still annoyed with people naming their girls masculine names like Elliott. It’s not so bad as long as the meaning isn’t blatantly masculine (like Ellison or Madison), but there are still plenty of strong feminine names that aren’t frilly sounding that would be perfect if you want your girl to have a strong name. That being said, most of these names are alright.

So many "boy" names on girls. So many boys named Judah, plus a Jude. And you name him Carl but you're calling him William. Not naming him William at all. This makes absolutely no sense. The boy named Kenneth but to be called Tripp makes a little more sense but not much more, to me. I suppose that's because I've heard of a few men named Tripp and have known one. To me, it's not just a nn.

Yeah, I’d assume Tripp is Kenneth III.

A few thoughts:Charleston— I know Charlotte is overused and “boring,” but it’s a much more straightforward and practical way to get the NN Charlie. Charleston just seems like a city to me. Sarah Grace — beautiful in its simplicity. When it comes to names, less really is more. Audrey Grace — same. Practical and simple, and beautiful for that reason. Forest Phillip James — this is an interesting combo. I’m inclined to like it, it all ties well together. CarlWilliam” — how do you get William from Carl? Unrelated nicknames like this kind of irk me. Why not just name him Carl William, or just William if that’s what he’ll be called? Judah Michael — another one of those beautifully simple combos that will never go out of style.
