[Opinions] Re: Carol
in reply to a message by Perrine
Coincidentally, I was thinking of this name just yesterday. I was looking up which celebrity named his child Buster, so I was looking at a list of what celebrities named their children. Some celebrity, whose name I don't remember, named her daughter Carole. And all of a sudden, as I was looking at it, Carol / Carole lost its dated/Mrs. Brady vibe for me and seemed crisp, crystal clear, and pretty. Suddenly I saw the appeal that it once had for so many.
So I think that Carol is one of those dated names that people dislike only because it's dated.

I enjoy the name m'self; the status of "dated" has little consideration with me.
