Bob is nice but only as a nickname for Robert, imho. Just kind of not a big fan of “nicknames as full names.”(

Also, btw, 25 years is a really big age gap for siblings. Honestly I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a gap that large.

My guess is that they're half-siblings. Some half-siblings have really large age gaps, especially ones who share a father but not a mother.
