My big sister got married on Saturday, and these were the names of two little girls at the wedding.
Henny is the 4yo daughter of my sister's friend. She has a 6mo brother named
Bertie.
Tulip is the 7yo daughter of my new brother-in-law's cousin. She has a 3yo brother named er,
Oliver, which is disappointingly tame in comparison.
In regards to
Henny, I mistakenly assumed that it was short for Henrietta/Henriette, but no,
Henny is the given name. I think it's cute as a short form, but not keen as a given name.
As for Tulip, I can't decide if I like it or not.
Any thoughts/opinions on these two?
NB: Sadly, these were the only two interesting names I discovered, I was most disappointed.
