Round 3 – Growing
Five years have passed and since the moment the triplets became mothers themselves nothing is as it was before.
The oldest triplet and her friend had not planned on a relationship initially fully content with being friends only, but through turns and twists of fate they became couple a few years ago. The engagement and marriage were only logical next steps and now happily married they are expecting their second baby, much to their older child’s joy.
The middle triplet still lives abroad. Raising a baby all alone has been quite a challenge, but she was determined to make it work and so she did; besides she is no longer single. Just when she was expecting it the least Mr. Perfect arrived, a single father with a seven year old daughter.
The youngest triplet married her boyfriend shortly after their child turned one. Given their ages they decided to have back to back babies and she got pregnant shortly after their marriage only to welcome boy/girl twins nine months later. There has never been a dull moment in their household since.

Though they didn't want to pursue a relationship, Lydia felt like Jay never left her house. He came over to help with Anaïs. A very attentive father, he learned how to bottle feed the babymandnchange her diapers. When Anaïs turned two, Jay decided to potty train her, while Lydia took a backseat. Jay's parenting method was so hands on and he always treated Anaïs with such gentleness and respect that Lydia couldn't help but fall for him all over again.
Their actual relationship began a lot as their unconventional little family had. One night after putting Anaïs to bed, the two had a few glasses of wine. In her wine drunk state, Lydia couldn't keep her hands to herself. Always touching some part of Jay, she ended up kissing him. Things just happened naturally from there, a much gentler turn of fate than the heat of their first hookup.
The next morning, Lydai asked Jay out on a proper date.
Due to already having a child together, their relationship moved fast. Within three months, moved in together officially. Within five months, Jay proposed. On their six month anniversary, Jay and Lydia got married. They kept their wedding small. After all, they had a three year old daughter to take care of. Lydia's sisters all came with their families and Jay invited a couple friends. Despite its size, the wedding was still beautiful.
When Lydia discovered that she was expecting their second child, she cried as told Jay the news. "We're having another baby!" she told him, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks. And this time they had planned a baby. Ever since their wedding, they had wanted another child, but it took them two years to succeed. The planning and preparation felt more natural than preparing for Anaïs ever did.

From the moment Atticus was born Ada and Jason were committed to being the best parents they could. When Ada returned to her job part time Jason took his turn and worked from home to take care of their son. They slipped into this happy family like routine without giving it a thought, it was just completely natural for both of them. One evening shortly before Atticus' third birthday after tucking his son in Jason stayed at Ada's house for a bit longer, the two of them lounging in the backyard with a glass of red after a long day. "I've been thinking Jay, why haven't we ever given this a try?" She asked narrowing her dark eyes on him. "This? You mean us?" He asked, a hint of amused smile passing through his lips. "Yes." Ada confirmed. "To be completely honest, I don't know. I mean it would make sense." The smile now beaming on his lips. "So, does that mean?" Ada asked her smile matching his. "I guess so." Jason replied before leaning in and the rest became a history. They got engaged several months later under the Christmas tree and got married in a vineyard just outside the town next summer with Atticus acting as a very excited ring bearer. He was even more excited when Ada and Jay told him he was going to be a big brother and can barely wait until his baby brother will be born.
Following Leif's birth Trix returned back to Belgium. Juggling a baby and her work turned out to be quite a challange but with a help of nanny she managed to be successful on both fronts.

Clara and Conor were both careful not to make the other feel they didn't have to be together just because of Ivy - but they were both committed parents to their daughter, and spent a lot of time together with her, and as friends to each other. They sort of settled into feeling like a family, and then one day Clara asked Conor why they weren't giving this a try. Neither of them could think why not, so they started dating - and everything just felt right. It didn't take long for them to move on to the next steps.
Irene met Jasper through a mutual friend, who invited both of their kids over for a playdate with her kids. She'd been wanting to set them up with each other for ages, but she knew that Irene was very resistant to that sort of thing, so she went for a more roundabout approach. As expected, they hit it off right away, though they used their kids as cover for a few more meetings to feel each other out before making a move. Jasper is a chef, and Irene has been loving their meals together - a great improvement over the simple dishes she'd throw together between working and childcare. She'd like to move back home sometime, and have her children know her sisters', but they haven't talked about any concrete plans for the future either way yet.

At first, Hannah's relationship with Gabriel wasn't all that serious. They had a daughter together. They might as well see how they felt about a relationship. It turned out they were perfect for each other. They understood each other and they supported each other. It wasn't long before they got married.
Vi is ecstatic that she's going to be a big sister. She got a doll for her birthday and she takes her everywhere and pretends the doll is her baby sister.
Nora is significantly happier than she was in round two. Katya was so bubbly and energetic and sweet that it was impossible not to love her, and that cheered her up somewhat. But it wasn't the way Nora had wanted for things to happen. She put up a facade of everything-is-fine-and-I'm-perfectly-happy, but inside, she was still depressed. And then she met Henry. She had rented an apartment in London while she was staying there for her job and he lived in the same building. But Katya and Henry's daughter Katie are really the ones responsible for them getting together. Katya was staying at the apartment with her babysitter and they went to the park at the same time Katie and her dad happened to be there. Katie and Katya became friends instantly. When Katya went to Katie's apartment for a playdate, Nora and Henry met each other, and they convinced their parents to go on a date together. Katie considers this to be her greatest accomplishment. Nora has convinced her boss to let her stay in London, and she has been dating Henry ever since.
Jade has been having an interesting time attempting to keep painting while taking care of three kids. Aspen is in kindergarten now, so it is possible, but difficult, to paint while he's at school and Petra and Percy are taking a nap. Sometimes, she paints in the middle of the night when the house is quiet. It's peaceful, sitting by a window, listening to the nothingness, and creating a world on a canvas.
