It makes me think of an upper class or aristocratic gentleman from Victorian or Edwardian England. Sir Carrington Archibald Gladwyn III.
It would work fine for a boy, but not a girl. Why not just use Carrie it's a better choice for a girl or what about Carrigan or Kerrigan.
