I guess that pretty much everyone's first reaction to Vile as a name is "NO" but I still want to ask about it, since I love it and the only thing that's putting me off is the English meaning. Vile is the name of a God in Nordic myth (brother to Oden/Odin).
So, what would your reaction be if you met a boy named Vile? Would you assume that he was from another country, and if so, which one? I'm terrible at describing pronunciations, but it's more like VEE-le and not like the word. Anything else you want to add?
And what about Emilius ? It's a name I've been thinking of lately, as an alternative to the name I'm already calling lil' man. I'm not really a big fan of Emilian as it sounds too feminine to me, especially when paired with my surname that starts with N so I thought Emilius might be a better option?
