[Opinions] Thoughts on Quintilian?
I really like the way the name Quintilian sounds, but I don’t know if that’s a widely held view! What do you think of the sound and the history behind it, what impression does it give you, and do you think it’s at all useable?Du weißt nicht, was du fühlst, weißt nicht, was du suchst, irgendwas weit weg von mirhttp://www.behindthename.com/pnl/185597

I like it. It's unique. Reminds me of Quincy and Quintus, which I also like. Feels like a name from the Chronicles of Narnia, which is a positive in my books.

It sounds like a child trying to make up huge numbers, "One hundred thousand million billion zillion quintilian!"I like a lot of Latin based names, but in this case, it seems pompous. I personally think Quintin or Quinlan would be better.

It simultaneously sounds ancient and futuristic to me. I would be very surprised to encounter someone named Quintilian in 2018. I don't hate the way it sounds, but it barely registers as a human name; it sounds more like a corporation or a festival.

Reminds me of cotillion, which is what some girls I went to high school with also called their quinceañera (when they turned 15). Basically, it's a debutante celebration. I don't think Quintilian works as a name because of this, sorry. However, there's Quintella!

It's just a little bit too much.

It sounds like a large amount of something (quintillion is a word) or a character from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (maybe Trillian and Zaphod's love child? Quintilian Astra-Beeblebrox) but I guess it's not worse than Maximilian. In real life, I imagine he'd most likely be known as Quin, which is nice enough.

I think it's utterly cool. I've always loved Quentin, but maybe, just maybe, now that you've brought the name to my attention, I love Quintilian more. I'd never heard of the historical Quintilian until just now when I looked him up, and I don't think most people have, so I wouldn't find it very important. Most little used Latin male names make me think of a guy who is smart and sexy.I think it's usable! Yes! Use it!

Hi !!!Only one of many Ancient Latin names imo.
I have no particular links that remind me of it.

Too eccentric for me, sorry. Sounds like a stuck-up billionaire who has a thick British accent and drinks tea with his pinkie sticking out.
