[Opinions] Cathleen/Kathleen
How does this name hold up today?

I think it's a bit old fashioned, I don't find many people with the name my age (23) they are all my parents' age or older. I think it's a lovely name though but don't see it being used for those younger than me
I've known a couple Kathleens around my age (I'm 27), though something I found it dated. However, I don't think that will be the case for this next generation. I think mothers of my generation will tire of the far trendier Caitlin and its many variations, and opt for Kathleen instead.
I like it much better than Caitlin, etc.
Holds up pretty well, and makes a refreshing change from all the Catherine/Katharine and Caitlyn/Katelyn people.
I prefer the K option; it just seems to have more energy.

It's definitely not popular the way Katherine still is, nor the way Kaitlyn used to be. But I think it's a nice balance between the two. More interesting than Katherine, less trendy than Kaitlyn, and usually without the spelling questions around both.
A dated but otherwise decent enough name. I just have a hard time visualizing it on anyone younger than say, middle aged range. Perhaps if I met a young Kathleen/Cathleen, it might change my perspective. Or, maybe not. Who knows.
Kathleen is my preferred spelling.

That's my younger sister's name (she's almost 24). She used to go by "Kacki" when she was younger, but now, she introduces her self as "Kat."
