Pretty usual where I live, though not used by English speakers. Can be Christoph, can be Christoff, or either can have a K instead of the Ch. An Afrikaans-speaking Chris would be Christoph or Christiaan, never Christopher, so it's a group marker, and since it's not my group, I just accept it without much thought.

It looks like Christopher has been chopped off. Christophe would be better as it is a legit variant.

So isn't Christoph. It's actually the German variant whereas 'Christophe' with that spelling is the French
Just thought you should know.

Hi !!!!I have no particular ties with Christoph. I think it is quite boring. When I was a child I was sure that the French form of Cristoforo were Christophère (it was Christophe actually). After I found the form Kristoff (Frozen) but also this one is quite weak.My favourite form of this name is Cristóbal.

I think it's nice but seems very German. About like if someone was a Fritz instead of a Fred.

Its okay. I prefer Christopher. Christoph looks incomplete to me.

I like it better than I do Christopher, but I'm tired of all "Chris" names. It also makes me think of when my daughter, as a teenager, had a relationship with a guy named Kristoff. He didn't always treat her well, and one time when she was angry with him, I asked, "What's wrong? Pissed off at Kristoff?" and only realized it rhymed after I'd said it.

It is a common name in german speaking areas and I know at least three Christophs and one Christophe (french variant). Personally, I prefer Christopher. I do not like the ending with the -ph sound.

It looks incomplete to me. Christophe would be the spelling I'd expect. It's not bad, but would be better as Christophe I think.
