[Opinions] 'Royal' BA - House of Orléans
Hi !!!
On October, 9, 2018 Prince Jean of Orléans and wife Philomena de Tornos Steinhart welcomed their fifth child.
Her name is Jacinthe Élisabeth-Charlotte Marie.
She is styled as Princess of Orléans as her sisters while brothers are styled Princes.
She joins older siblings:
1 Gaston Louis Antoine Marie (9)
2 Antoinette Léopoldine Jeanne Marie (6)
3 Louise-Marguerite Eléonore Marie (4)
4 Joseph Gabriel David Marie (2)
...
Congratulations to them.
I'm positively surprised to see Jacinthe. It is ready for a comeback and is elegant but fresh.

Aside from Gaston those are all lovely names. I am especially fond of Leopoldine.
I didn't know France had anything like royalty anymore. Weird.
I like the parents' names.
The baby princess's name is pretty. I'm not crazy about the rest of them. I guess Louise is nice enough, but not hyphenated with Marguerite. Eléonore is ok. I hate Antoinette and Léopoldine. If I were that 6 year old princess, I'd go by Jeanne.
I really dislike Gaston, but that's 100% because of Beauty & the Beast. I don't like the rest of his name, either.
Joseph Gabriel David is nice. I love Gabriel.
Totally ignoring all those Maries. I assume it's something to do with religion or royal lineage, neither of which appeal to me.
