Help[Opinions] 'Eggbert' BA
For those of you who doesn't visit the lounge; my little "Eggbert" was born on November 26th and he's absolutely perfect :-)
I had planned on naming him Maximilian, or possibly just Milian. I still think the name would've fit him, but he introduced himself with a different name - a name I had on my list but not one of my absolute favorites until I saw him.

It's funny how you just "knew" his name when you saw him (I had that with my cat, Jerry, I never even looked at the name but it just fits him perfectly). Hugo is beautiful yet strong name, I love your choice :)

It's working ... Hugo will never be a favorite name of mine, but today it does seem cute, cool, and handsome, in addition to being elegant and masculine like always. I think you made a great choice.

Isn't it fascinating that such a very new person can and often does look like one name rather than another? My first daughter was going to be Lucy - I'd wanted a Lucy daughter for as long as I could remember - but she just lay there and looked entirely unlike a Lucy, so I had to work through a book of names (by Leslie Dunkling, and therefore with a UK bias, which is fine by me) until I found something she did look like. Luckily, it was Caroline. I'd have been very tired if she'd looked like a Zoe!

Grattis! Hugo is a great name. Have you considered using Maximilian or Milian as a middle name? I think that especially Hugo Maximilian would be a handsome combo.

I haven't decided on middle names yet, and Maximilian is still up in the running as one of the middle names.

Good choice :D Hugo is lovely, short and to the point. You did well! Of course I would have loved Maximilian as well, so it seems I was with you no matter the decision.

I haven't decided on middle names yet. I like Hugo NIlas Alexander and Hugo Oliver Zacharias the most though. I'm also thinking about adding a family name into the mix, since we don't use the middle namws for anything here it wouldn't be a problem just a chance for me to use more names ;-)

Both of those are darling. Hugo Nllas Alexander sounds very strong, Hugo and Alexander would sound so great together.

I like Nilas and how unusual it is and if I remember correctly it's also a family name for you. Maximilian wouldn't be bad either. And I like Alexander and Zacharias. I guess you can't go wrong as far as I'm concerned!
(only the -o of Hugo and the O- of Oliver clash a little)
