I believe the correct pronunciation is Vay-duh and it’s the pronunciation I prefer; however, it seems to be pronounced as Vee-duh when read by people unfamiliar with the name.

How often do you think this name would be mispronounced and do you think it would be enough to not use it on my daughter?
