Prefer as a boy's name but it's ok for a girl.
I know two male Robins, one female Robin (who is the daughter of one the men I know), and one female Robyn (hate that spelling.)
I like it a lot.
I don't think of Robin Hood immediately, but eventually I do. I like the association.
