They came to the center after their parents died in a car crash on their way back from a party. The children were with a babysitter.
Cassidy is very protective of her siblings and doesn't want to be seperated from them. Cassidy is a little actress and loves to make up stories.
Gabriel and Landen, being so close in age, are almost like twins. They have even developed a secret language. They love being outside and will run and play for hours.

They came to the center after their mother died in a house fire that their father set. The children were not in the house at the time. Hailee is very sweet and loves to help around the house; sweeping, cooking, dusting, etc.

Meiying Lian and Xiu Mei Marrim are four year old twin girls from China. Their parents wanted to keep them, but because Meiying and Xiu Mei weren't boys, they had to give them up. They are healthy and developmentally normal. Xiu Mei is the larger of the two and was born first. She loves to draw and paint and is very good. Meiying is a "little mommy." She loves to play house and take care of her baby dolls.
Both girls speak English and Chinese.
Alexi Christoff, six years old; and Dimitri Michail, three years old, are brothers from Russia. They came to the center when their parents were murdered. The boys did not witness this. They are healthy, but are mildly depressed. They miss their parents terribly. Alexi loves to cook and always wants to help, no matter what you are doing. Dimitri is the shy one. Even though he can't read yet, he will pretend to. Both boys speak English and Russian.

Meiying has found the dolls house in the back bedroom and sits and plays for hours with it, the baby dolls go to bed every night in her room. They girls speak Chinese within themselves, which I think is cute but they English to us. Xiu Mei has been painting pictures for each of the children, it helps them bond. Alexi asks about is parents more than Dimitri and they both get upset. Alexi has been helping to cook with me and all the kids make buns every week. Dimitri is getting extra help from the teachers to help him to read and we read to them every night.

I want to thank you very much for assisting in the adoption of our lovely children.
Django and I flew to Africa to pick up the children and our other children stayed with their grandparents. I got really emotional when I saw them all for the first time. I couldn't stop crying and higged them all, they looked a bit confused. Jabari was very protective of his siblings, and he was reluctant to let is touch them. On the flight back he trusted us a bit more.
When we got to the airport, the other children were already waiting. We introduced them to eachother. After some time back home they warmed up to eachother. The little ones had no problems with the others and now all of them see the others as part of their family. Jaba is the only one who remains wary of us. I think he's afraid we'll leave them. I don't know what we should do to reassure him that we won't. All in all, things are going fine (although it's really busy in the house!).

We have found six children for you.
Liam Quinn and Aishlinn Darcy are two year old twins from Ireland. They came to the adoption center shortly after birth. Their mother was only fifteen when they were born. She was unable to care for them properly and made the heartbreaking decision to give them up. Both of them are healthy and developmentally normal. Liam is very outgoing and loves to play outside. Aishlinn is a little more reserved, but also loves to play outside.
Both children know English.
Alexander Jack, six years old; Millie Hannah, four years old; and Chloe Amelia, seven months old are siblings from England. They were brought to the center when their mother died giving birth to Chloe. Their father is unknown. Alexander is very protective of his younger sisters and does not want them to be split up. Henry and I are glad to have children in the house again, and are delighted to have Dominic Octavio, Cecily Rose, and Aurora Bella. They were born in Sicily and spoke hardly any English when they came to live with us. Neither Henry nor I are Italian, however we grew up in a very Italian American neighborhood, and so we consequently had both taken Italian in both Jr. high and high school. We had some brushing up to do, but it made it much easier communicating during the first few months.
Dominic is a very athletic and energetic boy. He loves to play soccer with my son Rob when Rob visits us from his college. His latest project is a tree house that he and Henry are building in the large oak tree in our backyard. Dominic is in second grade, and is slowly learning english.
Cecily is adorable and I'll admit reminds me of myself when I was little. I went through a stage when I was about her age when I refused to wear pants. Luckily, Cecily doesn't mind pants as long as they're pink, however she does love playing dress up. She's built up quite the collection of tutus and is in love with the Disney Princesses (Her favorite is Belle), and when she grows up she wants to be a ballerina or a princess. Cecily has quickly picked up english in the way that only children can.
Little Aurora, or "Rory" is sometimes forced by her sister to play dress up with her, however you can tell she'd rather play with Dominic. Rory loves to run around and play, with anyone who wants to play with her. If no ones availible, she'll just play with her imaginary friend Didi. She speaks hardly any Italian anymore, actually, and probably won't remember any in a few years.
