I can't separate the name from the datedness. There were so many of them in such a short time that we all knew pretty ones and plain ones, bright ones and dim ones, successful ones and flops ... I could go on. No chance of individuality anywhere.
That said, my DS has/had a Dutch girlfriend named Lisette, and since she's the only one I've ever met, I am perfectly able to like it (and her, admittedly!) a lot.
