[Opinions] Astoria
WHat do you think of this name? I think it is very grand sounding and would be cute on a female fantasy character.

Me too, it sounds very feminine and noble and pretty. Much better then Story.
If I was torn between Astrid, Victoria, and Brooklyn, it'd seem the perfect name.
Unfortunately, my main association with it is a famous luxury hotel, which seems to give it something of an avaricious vibe, that I wouldn't want to be connected to.

Neighborhood in Queens, end of.
I agree that Astoria has a grand elegance. I can imagine a queen or fantasy high counselor with this name.
Better than Trump Tower, but it's still a hotel.
I've loved it ever since I heard it on the Harry Potter character. It does sound very regal and powerful. Although sometimes I go through periods where the 'As-' part of it sounds awkward to me lol.
I saw it recently as a dog name with the nn Story, and I like it! I think it'll be hot in Australia soon since they love American places names. And Brooklyn is really overdone, and you can't just call your daughters Queens, so Astoria's your next best choice.
I know an Astoria, she goes by Story. I really really like it a lot.
