Charmian?
It is the first time that I see it.

My first impressions were...
1 'carminio' Italian word for 'charmine'
2 Carmen
3 Karma
4 Carmel
5 Hermione (because the original form is Charmion)

So Charmian has not its own personality but just a mix of all these links.

I see what you mean! I'm curious, do you think Charmion is any better? Or about the same?

I prefer these links rather than Charmian.

Ohh I realized that there is another form of it Charmaine !!

Charmaine is much better than Charmion! But only if it is pronounced with ch or sh (not with a K like I pronounce Charmion).
