It's not intuitive to me for some reason. Lorinda is, but not Laurinda. I like Laurie as an adult nickname, but I think it would sound dated on a kid. "-inda" is very dated on anyont IMO.
I like Laurana, Laurien, Lorien, Laurian, etc.
