In theory, I like it. I like Biblical names. I like El- names. It's fresher than Nathan or Nathanial while having recognizable elements, it's unique and interesting but not modern or trendy. (Which may be fine for some, but not my style particularly.)
In practice, it sounds kind of like something a high school freshman with half a semester of Spanish calls himself trying to sound cool. 'El Nathan.'
