Well, I like Walter best. I'm afraid that Eugene and Clarence are so fuddy-duddy that I couldn't be charmed by this sibset.
Eugene makes me think of the time that I was visiting my sister and found out that my then twelve-year-old nephew had a male friend named Gene. Except that in my mind's eye all I could picture was Jean or Jeanne and I was like "Whaaa?" Finally it was explained to me that it was Gene. I don't know why it didn't occur to me since I'd heard of men named Gene. Actually, I guess it was because it was not a popular name for that age group.
