Very religious. I honestly like Chicago best out of their children's names.
I guess if I had to pick, Psalm would be my favorite... for a middle name, probably on a girl. They’re all so over the top weird for me.
Do they not have middle names? The name nerd in me wants to know and I guess I’ve never noticed or looked it up before.

They don't, and neither does Khloe's or Kylie's, but Kourtney's do - Mason Dash, Penelope Scotland, and Reign Aston - and so does Rob's daughter - Dream Renée.
This sounds like I'm way too invested in the Kardashians for my own good, lol. I just looked it up.

Blech. How dumb.
(I’m firmly in the “kids need a middle name” camp)

Yeah, middles are great! I don't know why anyone would pass on them.
I think it has a LOT to do with Kanye's ego. He feels his kids should be known by first name only, like Kanye, Cher, or Madonna.
I've never knowingly seen or heard either parent or any child. But, correct me if I'm wrong - it does seem as if choosing such obviously off-the-wall names for one's children suggests a fear that if they have ordinary names, they will turn out ordinary. This, in turn, seems to indicate that the namers/parents themselves are, secretly, ordinary and doing their very best to conceal this from the public. And I find this very sad.
I actually like Psalm. I prefer it as a middle name and for a girl.
I always love seeing over the top names, something different yet acceptable. As a child however I don’t think you want to stand out too much with your name?
I like the sound of Psalm, but it sounds soft and therefor more feminine?

I love this whole set tbh.
Ugly, but not surprising. And...aren't you busy doing other things?! ;-)
Poor kid.
typical ..
I see a theme going here; the girls have location names and the boys have religious themed names.
Funny, I've never heard one word about either of these two being especially spiritual/religious. It would surprise me if they were, especially Kim.

They've been on a big church tip recently. Kanye's been leading Sunday Services and the kids have been singing in them.

Kanye leading his own Sunday services... I mean, I can't judge the sincerity of anyone's faith, but this seems like the most arrogant way to 'get into church' possible
Also why I feel a little weird about them picking Psalm, as someone who actually does go to church, but hey. It's better than Chicago.

hard to tell ...
If anything they do is based on actual convictions, or even if they have convictions. The whole bunch is just so incredibly shallow and self-promoting that it seems like everything they do or say is a calculated action to get/keep publicity or stir controversy.

One of Kanye's albums was titled "Yeezus". I think they do believe in God, but it's probably for self-serving reasons. Which, to be fair, is why a lot of people believe in God. IDK.
Yeezus is his comparison to him and Jesus (Combining his nickname Yeezy and Jesus). It’s so self aggrandizing. Honestly, I think he has a mental illness (he had a breakdown a few years back) and part of it is religious delusion. I think he thinks of himself as a modern day Jesus, which is so blatantly untrue.
Prior to his diagnosis I thought he was an egotistical prick, but now I kind of feel bad for him. He is almost definitely a psychopath.

I don't know about psychopath ...
But I do think he's been allowed to think he's somehow above everybody else most of his life; his mother probably started it, and then once he got into music and whatnot, his hangers-on and fans took up where she left off. And he's paired up with somebody who has had much the same kind of life, except she doesn't have any actual talent; at least Kanye has his music. Kim doesn't have any talent except for "being famous for being famous." They're actually a perfect match. (Probably why they've stayed together this long while her sisters keep breaking up with their men one after the other.)

No, you're right. Psychopath wasn't the right thing to say. He definitely has narcissistic and histrionic personality disorders with religious delusions. He had a mental crisis a few years back. Now he is the head of his own cult, "Sunday Service," calls himself a prophet, and compares himself to Jesus. On one hand, he's incredibly annoying, and on the other hand I feel bad that he obviously has mental health issues. What bothers me most is that Kim and her family seem to indulge him in his ideology.
I was only saying that *he* believes he is religious, whatever that means, for him. Can't say whether or not he's a psychopath, I don't really follow him.
Hi !!!
...and if Saint and Psalm would not be religious when they'll grow up?
However Congratulations to this family!

Well, at least it's gender neutral.
Aww, I kind of like Psalm. My closest guesses (there was a prediction thread in January) were probably Prophet, Lyric, and Ode, but Psalm is cuter than those.
It bugs me a bit that the boys have religious names, and the girls don't...it seems intentional, but why...
