I don't really like it much. For some reason, perhaps the "pur" syllable, I think it'd make a better name for a cat than for a human.

It's not pronounced like "purr" but like "poor". I don't know if that makes it better or worse in your estimation.

Thanks for telling me! While I don't think it so feline now, I'm still not that fond of the pronunciation, though the meaning is lovely.
