[Opinions] Raymie
I just read a children's book called "Raymie Nightingale". What do you think of Raymie?
I think it's kind of cute.
Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Kind of cute, but also manufactured and meaningless. It's user-submitted on this site, and supposedly a diminutive of Raymond, but yeah, whatever. It's manufactured. Not invented like names such as Pamela, Vanessa, and my own name, which were based upon foreign words or existing names, but manufactured. I can say Bromie is cute, but it's still manufactured garbage.
It is cute, and that’s the problem. Hopefully, the majority of any person’s life will be spent as an adult. It needs a longer version to fall back on for formal situations. What about Rosemary nn Raymie/Raimy?

It was a character's name. I'm not looking for suggestions, but I agree, Rosemary is a lovely name. :)
I think it's kind of cute too. You could experiment with a lot of different spellings for this name.
I'm assuming the character in the book is a girl but I have known a boy Raemi before, he'd be about 20 now.

I know a male Raymond who shortens it to Raymie. He’s Irish and in his late 20s.
Nickname Doh?
Strikes me as bright and friendly. I like that this spelling makes the desired pronunciation clear.
It reminds me too much of the fabric ramie.
Yeah, it is cute, and the spelling feels less show-off and more natural then Remi/Remy.
When I was little I had a Cabbage Patch cassette, and one of the characters was named Rachel Marie, called Ramie. I thought, and still think, that that is really cool.

Oh, I like it as a nickname for Rachel Marie. That's really cute.
