ROUND 7
There were three tragedies in the clan this year. First, Alondra’s wife Julianne was diagnosed with progressed cancer and passed away four years ago. It’s been extremely hard on Alondra and their three children, and she hasn’t even thought about dating again. Then Reina’s husband and Generation 1’s stepfather, Isaiah, passed away from a heart attack two years later. Finally, their father Kelton just died after receiving injuries in a car accident. Thankfully he was able to see Amiya and his older son, Rohan, get married to his high school sweetheart, Norah, and meet their newborn daughter Taniya before he died.
Karina and Ryan are still together, and have just decided they’ll be engaged for life; after all they’re common law wed now anyway. Alijah, Karina’s son with her ex Leandro, got engaged to his girlfriend Penny.
Zaria and Daniel have had two more children, Abel and Tabitha, and swear that they’re done now, especially since grandchildren may soon be on the horizon now that their oldest kids are starting to get into serious relationships. Gabriela, the eldest and triplet 1, just got engaged to Keagan, and Alexandra, triplet 3, is dating Jesus.
Ezra and Shannon have kept trying for a child but it just hasn’t happened, and they’ve applied for an adoption but so far haven’t had a child become available for them. They’re sad, but are trying to stay hopeful that their special child is out there or will be born soon, and so they’re waiting.
