Yes, I am positive that the name is feminine. I talked to the parents, and they said, they had it from two other persons by that name, and it was definitely Eino for a girl.
In Germany they will allow a name, if you can prove that it has been allowed in this country or is listed in any other country. So it would be interesting to hear a voice right from Finland. Are you?

Sorry, I'm not from Finland. I'm from America. It seems that elbowin had the answer that the name was Aino not Eino. The name is Finnish, and it comes from a mythological epic.
