To be honest, I prefer the Jory spelling as a stand-alone as it looks less nickname-y. I can’t say I’m fond of Marjorie, so that’s a bias, but if *you* don’t truly love it, I wouldn’t suggest giving it just to avoid giving “only a nickname”. If you love it, then I’d say go for it and use the nickname as desired. For me, the nickname could also work for Jordana, Jordan or variants, Jorja, Jordis, but I also think it’s fine on its own.
