A relative of mine has a friend, Johna, with whom she’s been good buddies since grade school. I would describe Johna as kind-hearted, caring, and a bit sassy in a playful way. I haven’t asked if she has a middle name, but I do know her first name is honoring and I think it suits her. As much as I enjoy girls having the honor of being named for a father or grandfather, etc. as well as the boys, on paper, Johna is not a feminine form I’m drawn to despite liking John.
So I decided to play and see if I could create combos that would improve my attitude. This is just for fun, not naming anyone. Here’s what I came up with...

I sort of ran the gamut from fairly “normal” to “served with fresh lemon” to “fairytale” to Winifred. Winifred is a category unto herself; you can always count on Winifred. And, for me, Johna Winifred works best. Are there any you like? What would you pair with Johna?
