[Opinions] Not matching sibsets
Are there any siblings you've heard of whose names you both like, but think they don't go together at all? I recently read about a woman who had two daughters - Lydia Andromeda and Anna Sophia. I love both combinations, but I think you'll agree they have completely different styles.

Lily and Leland
Clair and Cynthia
Clare and Shirley
Emily and ConnieAll of these people have immigrant parents, though, so I don't think they were aware of cultural perceptions of these names. People without immigrant parents:Ian and Giselle (Giselle is not a common name where I come from)
Aidan and Trevor, because Aidan is so much more common--although, Trevor's father is an immigrant but from England, so perhaps it is a cultural difference there also
Mairead and Christopher
Shira and Jacob --they're both Jewish names but one is so much more Jewish

My cousin's kids are Remi (g) and Caleb. It's not completely outrageous, but I was expecting something more like...Lydia or Anna for Remi when she was born!
Another where the names fit...kind of: Michael, Margaret, Maureen, Marie, Edward, Elizabeth, Stephen, Daniel...I think they must have run out of 'M' names????

Not with names I really like both of, but
Nathan and Kaia
Vernon and Daniel
Marilee and Susann
I like both Lydia and Anna, but the middle names do make them seem different styled.

I’ve noticed it most with people who seem drawn to trendy names and aren’t tethered to any sort of personal style. Especially if their kids are a few years apart. The most extreme example I can think of is my friend’s cousins. They have three girls named Taylin, Isabella and True. True is an infant and obviously Kardashian-inspired. Isabella is 8 or 9 and I’m sure comes from the era when everybody wanted to get to “Bella” as a nickname while Twilight was still kind of popular. Taylin is around 12 or 13 and is just a mishmash of trendy sounds. They’re not stepsiblings, just a little spread out.
