[Opinions] Sibsets with the name ‘Esther’
I’m writing 3 short stories with a sister for each one, Esther is the name of the first sister and these are some sibsets I’ve came up with: Esther, Pearl and Robin
Esther, Mabel and Lois
Esther, Violet and Sylvia
Esther, Lydia and Miriam
Esther, Cecily and AlicePlease comment your opinions on these sibsets and tell me which is your favourite. Feel free to mix them up using the same names. I’m also doing a poll on these and using one of the top 3 most popular so make sure to vote.

Easy for me, as two nieces of mine are Esther and Miriam and they are sisters! If their little brother had have been a girl, her name would most likely have been Lydia!! Esther, Miriam and Lydia is definitely my fave set and in that order. A beautiful set.

I love Esther and Pearl together. I'd prefer Robin as a boy though, on a girl it sounds a little too dated. I also really like:
Esther, Violet, & Sylvia (especially Esther & Sylvia)
Esther, Lydia, & Miriam (they all go well but especially Esther & Miriam)
Esther, Cecily, & Anne (This whole sibset is great!

I've heard that characters should have names that are definitely different from each other, to help the reader keep them straight. I think Esther, Violet and Pearl are the most different. Different number of syllables and a different "feel" for each.

I voted for Esther, Mabel and Lois but I love Violet and Pearl in these sets. I think Robin is a little odd one out, but I like the name

Lovely name! I think you’re definitely on the right track with the slightly obscure “old lady” names. I think some from your list might almost be too mainstream, but they still sound nice. What aboutEsther, Pearl and Judith
Esther, Agatha and Mabel
Esther, Violet and Tabitha
Esther, Sylvia and Constance
Esther, Lydia and Opal
Esther, Cecily and Hazel
Esther, Alice and Verbena
