I like the middles but the first names are awful.
Cooper ... and if he becomes a policeman when he grows up, he'd be Cooper the copper. I don't enjoy occupation names in general, but perhaps there are so few coopers in today's world that it might pass unnoticed. But I'd have preferred James Cooper.
Reuben Thomas is pleasantly retro: I don't like the thought of Reuben shortening to Roob or Ruby, or turning into Rhubarb; once again I'd have preferred these names in the reverse order. Thomas Reuben is really distinguished.
