It's alright. The meaning is nice. I don't love the sound, but it could maybe grow on me.I don't read the A ending as feminine, because it looks obviously Indian to me. My first thought was that it reminds me of Pranav a little.

Fine for a native speaker of Sanskrit, who could be a male quite comfortably with a name ending in what looks to us like a uniformly female element! But in today's world, I think it would only be used for girls, if at all. Which, from where I sit, makes it analogous to Aubrey!

I had never run across this before. Before I looked it up, my first impression was that it sounded like a name created by the Christian community - a mashup of "praise" and "hosanna."
