[Opinions] How would you name a Scottish Terrier?
If you had a Scottish Terrier (or three) how would you name him / her?

I'd name a Scottish Terrier Fala.
I’d name them with Scottish names!
We have a west highland terrier named Arthur :)
I'd probably name a scotty Conall or Dougal or Duncan or Jock

I've always had a secret longing for three male Scotties: Angus, Fergus and Magnus.
But if I ever get another one, it'll be female: Sonnet, because, Dark Lady.
Scotties I've actually owned and named: all female -
Bingo
Bonnie, who became Bonzo as her personality developed
Tessa, who resembled a boy I was teaching at the time; his name was Altus, so, Son Altesse -> Tessa
Squib, who dribbled nervously when we collected her and was therefore damp. The rest of the family thought she deserved something more distinguished, and started going through the names of Scottish towns. I had one foot in plaster, and she used to gnaw it contentedly when she was teething. One evening, DH said "What about Dundee?" just as she bit the wrong foot and I screeched loudly "She's got jaws like a crocodile!" This led to her full name being Squibodile Dundee, but she was mostly Squib or Squibbles (which was Squib + Dribbles).

Oh, I would have a Fergus. Not exciting, but it's a name I've long liked them I'm not sure is practical for me to use not on a dog.
Reggie, for sure. It's the first thing that came to mind for a male Scottish Terrier.
For a female, I'd go for something dated. Maybe Liz or Cheryl? It just seems right tonight.

Wee Hamish McBagpipe.
I love that name
My grandmother has had many.
Winston, Duncan, Rudy, Reilly, and currently, Simon.
Actually, I named Duncan and Simon.

I'd keep with the Scottish theme because why not;
Gordon - Dougal - Mungo
Vanora - Sorcha - Morven
