I think it's nicer sounding and more evocative than Lark. I'd say the same of Meadowlark.

I like Larkspur most as a MN; it seems harsh and eccentric as a FN but still wearable enough to use...similar to Lark or Juniper but less expected.
It's maybe in my top 20 as far as feminine botanical names go, or probably top 10, for rare ones specifically? And I like that category more than the average person.
