I don't dislike it - but I don't like it, either. It seems sort of harsh sounding, to me.

I like it. I see it as a sweet, simple name.

I wouldn't say I liked it exactly - I'd be highly unlikely to use it unless I was married to a highly unlikely person - but I do like it a whole lot more than May, which is a family name and which I would/might therefore consider. Maeve sounds more finished, as well as not being a month name, which is a good thing.

Not really. It feels incomplete, to me.

I liked it a lot, actually. It’s youthful and pleasant and sort of like an upgrade from Mae and Eve.

Never liked it because for a long time I wasn't sure how to pronounce it and when I found out, it was nothing special. It looks like a misspelled mauve.
It's in the news right now because a Maeve (a granddaughter of RFK) and her little son are missing in the Chesapeake Bay after their canoe flipped. It does not look good for them.
