Obviously people are going to reply and say how awful and terrible they both are. I’ll just say the names clearly meant something to the parents and I think the sentiment behind them is sweet. Shaughnessy could be a cool name.

I thought the same that there was sentiment behind it otherwise I wouldn’t have mentioned the parents names. If I wanted to say how awful are these names I would simply have given the girls names. I’ve known plenty. Cemre, Beanie, Lumai, Jolon and Mami amongst them.

People are going to say how awful they are even with the context.

Also, it occurs to me that it might be worth doing something to obscure the names since they’re so unusual.
